Team Lee

Proceeds from this Collection will be donated to Lee.

Lee was born 6 weeks premature. At 8 weeks he was diagnosed diabetic. At 4 months he was diagnosed with IPEX, an autoimmune disorder that was attacking his body and he needed a successful bone marrow transplant, or he would not survive. He received his first transplant at 6 months old, bit it eventually failed. IPEX then attacked his kidneys and the 2nd transplant (at 5 years old) also injured his kidneys.  Lee was on dialysis until July 2020. His kidneys have been holding their own until recently.  His doctor and mom have collectively decided to do the kidney transplant before he requires dialysis again, which will be in the near future.
